DO NOT drive your vehicle for 30 minutes after installation
DO NOT hand wash or go through any commercial car wash for 24 hours after installation
PLEASE REMOVE any blue tape use within 1-2 hours after installation. *The tape may cause damage to your vehicle paint; ATE will not be responsible for any damage caused by not removing the tape.
Please leave a window partially open to allow the vehicle interior to vent and relieve any pressure that opening and closing the doors may cause.
Windshield Repair Warranty
ATE will offer a lifetime warranty on all repairs performed covering only the repair(ed) portion of the windshield as long as the customer has possession of the vehicle.
No warranty will be transferable to another party who takes possession of the vehicle.
Warranty will cover any continued cracking extending from where the repair was made.
If at any time the damage extends or the customer is not satisfied with the repair, the cost of the repair will be credited towards the cost of the replacement of the windshield.
If the work was performed under the customer’s insurance, the insurance company will be credited, and the customer will be responsible for their deductible if they choose to replace the windshield.
In order to perform ANY repair, the following conditions MUST be met:
Repair must not be in the Driver’s Primary Viewing Area. 12 inches wide (300mm), centered in the driver’s position and extended from bottom to top of the wiper sweep.
Any Bullseye no larger than 1 inch in diameter.
Combination break with the body diameter not exceeding 2 inches.
Half moon no larger than 1 inch in diameter.
tar break no larger than 3 inches in diameter.
No moisture or foreign materials present at the time of repair.
ATE will explain the requirements to the customer at first contact to identify if the repair can be completed. If at the point the technician arrives and determines the repair cannot be completed, the technician will contact the customer and explain the reason. During the repair process, by no fault of the technician, the damage may extend beyond the original size. The repair process may have to be stopped and require a replacement. ATE warranty will not cover these instances and ATE will not be responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred. ATE will follow ROLAGS (Repair of Laminated Automotive Glass Standards) and technicians will be trained to industry standards.
Windshield Replacement Warranty
ATE will offer a lifetime warranty against any defects and/or workmanship for as long as the customer has possession of the vehicle. No warranty will be transferable to another party who takes possession of the vehicle. Warranty will cover:
Workmanship defects: Leak(s), wind noise(s), glass defect(s), any parts that were removed and have come loose or unattached.
ATE must be within a timely manner of any issues stemming from any work performed. Any issues outside of 90 days from the date of the original work
will be left to the discretion of ATE to determine if the issue stems from the original work performed.
ATE will reserve the right to inspect the vehicle prior to approving and/or performing any repairs.
ATE will follow AGSC (Auto Glass Safety Council) standards and technicians will be trained to the industry standard.
ATE will offer up to 3 repairs after the installation of a windshield. The repairs must meet ATE requirements to be repaired and the vehicle will need to be brought to the nearest ATE Auto Glass location to qualify.
ATE will document the damage and provide documentation to the customer. Prior to any work ATE will perform an inspection of the customer’s vehicle for any visible damage to the vehicle and document the findings. ATE will not be responsible for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle.
After removing the windshield and/or the surrounding parts ATE may discover damage that will/can prevent a safe installation. *If it is determined ATE cannot perform a safe installation all work will be halted, and the customer will be responsible for the repairs of any damage.
ATE will document the damage and provide documentation to the customer.
